Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cardstock does with your information. The short

version: the app keeps everything on your phone, and the only data leaving your

device is what Google's advertising service collects in order to show ads.

Who we are

Cardstock is developed by Tyler Lance, an individual developer based in Arizona,

United States. You can reach us at snarfwaffle92@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Cardstock has no account system, no sign-in, and no server of its own. We cannot

see your games, your records, or anything else about you.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following locally, on your phone only:

• Your game records and streaks for each game
• Your current unfinished game, so it can be resumed
• Your chosen card design and sound preference
• Your hint balance and whether you have purchased Premium

This information never leaves your device. It is removed when you uninstall the

app, and you can clear it at any time using Reset progress in the app's menu.

Advertising

Cardstock shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's

advertising service may collect and use:

• Your device's advertising ID
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• Information about how you interact with ads

This collection is carried out by Google, not by us. We never receive this

information, and we cannot identify individual users from it.

Google's use of this data is governed by their own policies:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings,

under Settings → Google → Ads.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland,

the app will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you may

change that choice at any time. Users in certain US states may be offered

similar choices.

Purchasing Premium removes all ads.

Purchases

Cardstock offers optional in-app purchases handled entirely by Google Play. We

never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of those transactions

is covered by their own privacy policy.

Children

Cardstock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect

information from them. The app is rated for a general audience and contains no

chat, no user-generated content, and no way for users to contact one another.

Your choices

• Reset advertising ID: device settings, as described above
• Remove ads entirely: purchase Premium within the app
• Clear all stored data: use Reset progress in the app's menu, or uninstall

the app

• Change consent choices: available in the app where required by law

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and

the date at the top will be revised. Continuing to use the app after a change

means you accept the revised policy.
